About Cosby Campground
Cosby Campground is one of the least busy of the campgrounds within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. At an elevation of 2,460, Cosby Campground offers plenty of shade and a more secluded environment. Although there are some RV sites available, the campground is mostly comprised of tent sites with tent pads, fire rings/grills, and tables. Cosby Campground does offer flush toilets and potable drinking water.
Although 26 sites in the campground can be reserved, there are another 131 sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can call the number below to check availability.
There is also a picnic area for day hiker parking available. When at the Cosby Campground, you’ll definitely want to take about 30 minutes and walk the wonderful Cosby Nature Trail!
