Smoky Mountain Road Work Scheduled

Smoky Mountain Road work Scheduled. Smoky Mountain road crews will close single north and south bound lanes on the Spur connecting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge June 1, 2021 through Thursday June 10, 2021. This work is expected to snarl holiday traffic and create delays.

The lane closures will begin each day at 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday during the week of June 1 on thehe northbound Spur. Work is expected to shift to the southbound Spur beginning daily at 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday during the week of June 7. Motorists can expect traffic delays. Please reduce speed, and use caution when traveling through these areas.
